Happy Monday! Our toddlers room have loved showing their creativity using the perspex easel where we have experimented using different colours. 🖌️🎨
We see colour every day, it's a big part of our world! Learning about it helps give children a good toolkit to talk about the world around them, contributing towards developing their communication, literacy and expression, not to mention creativity.

Last week we said goodbye to the last of our school leavers. 👋😢
The last couple of months, as the children have slowly left nursery, have been full of tears, hug and thankyou's, and although seeing the little ones walk out the door for the last time can be sad, the gratitude from parents is so heart-warming. ❤️
We've received some amazing messages from parents and carers, telling us how well their child has developed in their time at the nursery, and how well they've been supported and prepared for the next big transition of their lives to school.
Everything we do here is dedicated to caring for the children, educating them and helping them develop in to happy, curious and confident little people, and seeing them leave like that gives us an overwhelming sense of pride. 😊

This week is Housekeepers Week, so what better time to recognise the hard work of our very own housekeepers Claire and Emma. ❤️
Our two wonderful ladies work hard behind the scenes to ensure the laundry is kept on top of, keep the kitchens and rooms tidy during and after lunch service, ensure the staff and storage areas are clean and safe, and to support the children over the lunch time period. They really are an essential part of the nursery.
