We are looking for enthusiastic and passionate Nursery Practitioners at Level 3 to join our amazing nursery team. As a qualified practitioner, you will be key to the development and growth of the children at the setting, and help maintain the high standards of the nursery.

Hours & salary:

  • Various shift patterns available (between 30 and 40 hours per week between the hours of 7:30 and 18:30, Monday to Friday)
  • From £25,000 to £29,000 (dependent on experience) 

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • To provide the highest levels of care and education for all children attending the setting.
  • Supervise, engage with, support, and meet the needs of the children
  • Bring a positive attitude and creative ideas that inspire children to learn
  • Lead, prepare and join the children in engaging (and sometimes messy) activities aligned with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
  • Be proactive and responsive, and react to children’s interests
  • Be willing to sing, dance, dress up, and take the occasional trip to the moon
  • Assess development for your key children
  • Develop and maintain warm and professional relationships with the children, parents/carers, colleagues and visitors
  • Maintain the high standards of the nursery

Essential skills & qualifications expected as a Nursery Practitioner:

  • Minimum full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification
  • Proven experience of working in Early Years
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills
  • Paediatric First Aid qualification and basic Safeguarding
  • To work productively within a team
  • To work with and support parents
  • Excellent working knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage
  • Excellent knowledge of the current Early Years Inspection Framework

Any necessary training will be provided through our engaging training platform.

About us: 

As part of Monkey Puzzle Hartley Wintney, you will be joining our caring, welcoming and supportive team. We have been open since 2016 and are situated in a beautiful leafy setting just outside the picturesque village of Hartley Wintney. We are currently going through an exciting redevelopment project which includes refurbished staff room and kitchen, the creation of a new room for our youngest babies, and an extension of our two gardens to include new natural learning environments for the children.
